Amidst the football games and red carpet walks airing today, I thought I would distract you with 207 seconds of pure wedding bliss. Though I only post sparingly about weddings, the whole reason I took a step into the blogosphere was because I fell in love with blogs during my own planning process.


The weekend before I began this blog, {cv} and I traveled to Atlanta for the wedding of one of my dearest friends, {bw}. We met through work, but our friendship quickly outgrew those confines. Though she still lives in the DC area, we talk at least once a day during our drive time. We encourage each other during the rough patches and praise one another during the high points. More than that, she's among a small handful of people I call my best friends.


{bw} and her now husband, {iw}, hired the geniuses at 509 Photo to capture their big day in November. 509 Photo is owned by Bryan Johnson, of A Bryan Photo fame. Their staff  has a bazillion connections to Samford, where {bw} and {iw} met. Their wedding was held at King Plow Arts Center in Atlanta and was easily one of the most beautiful weddings I've ever attended. I could go on and on and on, but I'll let this fantastic 8mm video speak for me...

P.S. This wedding was my first Rent The Runway experience... and I doubt I ever go as a guest to a wedding in my own dress again! They now have a wedding collection...hello awesome!
