One color I've always strayed away from is pink...ok, there, I said it. Don't hate me though--I'm coming around to this happy hue! Though I've loved clothes for years, I definitely didn't grow up as a "girly girl". With pink {and red} on the brain for Friday's Fancies this week, I decided to give pink another whirl. After finishing this post, I can assure you I'll be adding some hot pink to my wardrobe, once operation spending freeze is complete...check out a few of my favorites:
Though I haven't always been a huge fan of pink, I'm incorporating it in little ways. I have a fun sweater and a super shiny lipgloss in pink, so those are my first forays...I'm sure more will come. Pink is growing on me, that's for sure! I'll see you all back here tomorrow for some red + pink Fancies :) get excited!

ReplyDeleteoh honey, i am just like you. but the last year, i decided to tap into my inner pink (hahah) and have worn more of them in lighter hues, like a dusty rose tone. i have magenta pink scarves and i can actually do pink nail polish to add that pop of color. i do have pink ballerina flats that i purchased last fall. i have yet to wear it, it was supposed to be for spring 2012! LOL

ReplyDeleteI'm definitely with you on pink items - I don't wear much pink, but I love incorporating little accents of it into my outfits (particularly with work clothes, to add a splash of playful color to the seriousness).
