A very happy Friday to you! I'm back with this month's round of Friday's Fancies, centered around a look for summer nights. Though this skort wouldn't work with my current bump situation, I liked how the faux skirt look took this ensemble from afternoon to evening. This weekend, we're attending the first of our summer weddings! Things are fitting slightly different these days, so the fanciful angle of this month's Friday's Fancies for me is wearing something I would have worn pre-pregnancy ;) One of my sweet friends loaned me a gorgeous Shoshanna dress for the weekend, but you know I would have borrowed from my friend named Rent The Runway otherwise. All of the "rented radiance" options above are under $65 for a four-day rental. Sadly, the "full price fabulous" are not as reasonably priced--though they are still gorgeous.

Welcome to this month's round of Friday's Fancies! March is such a hopeful month: it holds the return of daylights savings time and spring. After a long winter, I'm ready to shed the layers and simplify my wardrobe a bit. My March fashion M.O. is to keep it simple--and add a touch of green whenever I can ;) Since we moved to New England, March has been a difficult month for dressing, but I'm learning how to make it work with each passing year. One of these years, I'll actually get it right--and not leave the house in a heavy coat on a 50-degree day.

Happy Friday, friends! With Valentine's Day on the horizon, I wanted to pull together a little date night number. {cv} and I will be having a little staycation in Boston next week--and I couldn't be more excited. Budgets and cold temperatures aside, I would love to wear this classic black Zara dress with a few extras for our date night next week.

After three years of Friday's Fancies, the holiday break taught me that a bigger life balance was achievable. Making a few small changes would absolutely change my world for the better. I recognized the quality of Friday's Fancies would grow exponentially if I was managing it once a month, rather than four. Moving forward, the first Friday of each month will be all about Friday's Fancies. As always, there is no requirement to follow the theme I laid out. Themes are simply suggestions to get the creative wheels turning. Though #FridaysFancies is changing somewhat, the underlying mission is still true: money shouldn't put a cap on the possibilities. Every Friday's Fancies ensemble starts a dreamy get-up and is meant to inspire future fashion choices.  This outfit, for example, would be perfect for facing a new day with new confidence and classic flair.

Moving forward, we'll be able to make Friday's Fancies an even better form of its former self. {As an FYI, the link-up will remain open throughout the entire months. Multiple entries from the same blog over the course of the month are permitted and encouraged.} Many thanks to those who have been with me on this Friday's Fancies journey since the beginning!
