a new toy.

Though I'm happy the first snow didn't happen in October this year, I have to admit that I wasn't exactly prepared for it yesterday. I was in shorts two weeks ago for goodness sake! However, I will thank the snow for inspiring today's post ;) After my marathon, I decided to treat myself to a little something in the form of a Wacom Bamboo Splash tablet. It finally came yesterday and I was so excited to give it a try. Though this graphic is rather simple, it was my first attempt with what I'm sure will become one of my favorite gadgets...

Since you're reading a blog, I'm going to bet you have a few favorite gadgets, programs, or apps. I love my MacBook, but I rarely use {cv}'s iPad. Call me boring, but I find myself using my iPhone mostly for the basic phone functions, Instagram, and Nike+. My readers are some of the most resourceful {and tuned-in} people I know, so I can't wait to hear what techie goodness you have up your sleeves!

I'll see you for a bonfire-inspired Friday's Fancies tomorrow! As always, any and all fashion posts are welcome! Thank you for putting up with my rudimentary first try on my little tablet--I just had to record it for posterity's sake ;) Have a great Thursday!

  1. My Kindle Fire never leaves my purse. I was so anti-tablet readers but once I got one I can't stop. I read more than I did before!

  8. Ummmmm I need that. Now. And I love our iPad, but mostly so I can lay in bed and watch hours of Netflix haha :) My Macbook Pro is my life though. I'd be lost without it.

  9. I've been using my iPad for magazines lately - love the extra features.

A new favorite app is actually the Starbucks app. Boring really but I get a kick out of paying with my phone!

  14. I would have to say my favorite gadget has been and still is my Macbook and iPhone. I need and use both on a daily basis and I love the simplicity in handling an Apple device. I have never heard of your new tablet, but I am intrigued!

  17. I use my iPad for everything now; I don't know how I survived without it! But I also don't have an iPhone, so maybe I'd feel differently if I did more on my phone. And I have to say, now that I have an iPod shuffle, I can't go back to anything bigger. Running with big iPods now feels so bulky and annoying!
