a sneak peek.

After two magnificent weeks together in Europe, {cv} and I just spent five days apart. He couldn't come with me to Michigan because of work--and then left for a work trip right as I was landing back in Rhode Island. Suffice it to say, having both of us in the same apartment last night was such a relief.

Since I wanted to soak up some time with {cv} and work on my blog/life balance,
I hope you'll take this video of a very sparkly Eiffel Tower as a concession prize ;)

If I lived in Paris, I don't think I would ever get anything done at night. Seriously.
More to come from our Europe trip soon--Have a fantastic Wednesday!

P.S. During the time we spend apart, I am always thankful for the years we spent 400 miles away from one another. Why? It helps me appreciate our quiet nights together so much more. I'll just continue to count my blessings that we only do short stints of long distance these days. It also tugs at my heartstrings for those of you who are still enduring the distance... xo

  3. What a pretty video! So sparkly! :-) A sight that always stops me in my tracks is rain -- we don't get much of it here in Arizona, but when we do, my husband and I enjoy just lounging around, watching, and listening!

  6. Amazing!! We're on the edge of our seats waiting for more details about your trip! :)

We always say the same thing about missing our husbands after spending a vacation together then coming home & having to go our separate ways to work, etc. You're so right though...just makes us that much more grateful for our quality time with them!
