a midwestern swing.

Happy 2012! I'm crossing fingers that your January is off to a fantastic start :) After a week in the Midwest, {cv} and I are bound for the east coast today--back to reality and ready to get rolling in this new year! Here are a few instagram photos, which I'm linking up with a {little} dash of ash...

Nashville proved to be a fantastic destination once again! We got to spend a lot of quality time with family and explore the Music City. {cv} and I also made it to Arrington Vineyards, a winery thoroughly branded with my {av} moniker ;) I couldn't get enough of the scenery, in Tennessee or Indiana. I love the quaint old barns and farm country, which definitely hold a special place in my heart...though the city girl in me may try to fight it.

Our days in southern Indiana were also filled with family and friends, which is exactly how I like it. We made it to the quintessential diner in my hometown and rang in 2012, sipping some bubbly {in a can!} and playing Cranium. My parents' Corgi, Cleo, also entertained us the whole weekend :)

There is so much more to share, but you'll have to hang tight until tomorrow! I hope you have a great Monday and I can't wait to really catch up with all of you soon. All my love!

  1. I don't know if you want to know how I rang in 2012. Let's just say it involved vomit and the vomit was not mine. Boys.
