I've been hinting about this announcement for a few weeks, but it's finally here: Blogger Blitz Chicago!
I am bursting at the seams with excitement about this event--mostly because I'm a Midwesterner at heart.  I wanted to give a bigger heads-up on this event since many of you have expressed an interest in traveling for a Blogger Blitz! Read on to find out all the details :)

Sunday, July 15th, I'll be hosting Blogger Blitz Chicago at Market. This West Loop hot spot will be the perfect venue for #bloggerblitzchicago! Blogger Blitz Chicago will be a little earlier in the day, so you'll still have plenty of time to enjoy your summer Sunday.

If you have any questions {or if you'd like to reach the bloggers in attendance at this and other Blogger Blitz events}, please email me! If you don't live in Chicago or DC, don't worry--I am taking suggestions on where else to host a blitz, so be sure to give your input!  

To say I'm excited for July 15th is the understatement of the century. Don't dilly dally on buying your tickets--space is limited and I don't want you to miss out! Knowing I get to see so many of your fabulous faces will be such motivation for the next few months :) YAY!

I promised a few fun announcements in the next few weeks...this is the first of them: Blogger Blitz DC!
I am so excited to return to my second "home" in Washington, DC the first weekend of June. Since my first DC blitz in December, I've been aching to get back to Washington--and the time has finally come :)

Join me {+ a bevy of other fabulous bloggers!} on Sunday, June 3rd from 5:00 - 7:00pm at Marvin for the second #bloggerblitzdc! Marvin will be the ideal place for all of us to mix and mingle--and maybe enjoy a few of their fabulous cocktails and beverages while we're there ;)

A very happy Monday to you! This week is a big one on {long distance loving}--I have this fun reveal today and a great giveaway coming tomorrow. Since my last round of Blogger Blitz events, I've been getting questions about when and where the next stops would be. I'm happy to announce a Floridian Blogger Blitz at the end of this month :) Not in Florida?! Don't worry! I've got DC, Chicago, and NYC Blitzes on the brain for this summer and I'd love to know where else you'd like to see a Blitz. Share your city with me and if there's enough interest, I'll make the trip!

Yardbird Southern Table + Bar opened their doors to us--and I couldn't be more excited! Happy Thursday! I had an absolute blast last night at the Boston Bloggers Holiday Fiesta :) It was my second blogger event of the week--I wish I had the time to do that every week! The other blogger event from the last few days was blogger blitz dc. I hinted at the pure fabulosity of Sunday night on Monday when I shared a few photos from our DC weekend. True to form, I rented another dress from Rent the Runway {this time a sparkly gold Milly number!}. Everyone looked positively stunning and I wished the night never had to end. one for the record books.

Happy Monday, all! I am treating myself to a vacation day to soak up a few extra hours in DC before I head back to Rhode Island this afternoon. {cv} and I had an epic weekend--one fit for the record books. Here are a few photos I took over the weekend {using Instagram}. As always, I am linking up with a {little} dash of ash for her Instagram Mondays series!

{cv} and I made it to the District on Friday after work--and dove straight into this festive weekend with dinner at Chef Geoff's Downtown, surrounded by some of our best college friends. Saturday came quickly, but with it, so did a Georgetown basketball game and an evening of fun at a gala for an organization {cv} was involved with at Georgetown. I sported the sparkly number below from Rent the Runway {it's the Mini Sequin Pixie Dress from Mark & James by Badgley Mischka--and I LOVED it!}. On Sunday, we managed to squeeze in some touristy stops before {cv} flew back yesterday afternoon. I was super excited to see the new Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial and the National Christmas tree. Suffice it to say, it was enough to remind both {cv} and me how much we love and miss DC.

To cap off the weekend, I met up with nearly forty gorgeous ladies at Urbana for blogger blitz dc! Evenings like the one I had last night remind me why I blog. I loved meeting everyone who came--and I just wish I could have spent more time with each of you. There will be a post with lots more photos coming on Thursday, so watch for it. To those of you who came--thank you from the bottom of my heart from traveling near and far to be there! {Much gratitude to the phenomenal staff of Urbana who helped to make this event possible--and to the always lovely {mr} for suggesting their space!}

As excited as I am for a spooky round of Friday's Fancies, I have been itching to make this announcement for weeks! If I have been quiet on the comment front, it is because I have been working behind the scenes to make the events in this post possible, so I hope you'll forgive me. In celebration of my first blogiversary on November 17th, I am hosting a series of blogger meet-ups on the East Coast and the Midwest, which I am calling blogger blitz! If you're in NYC, Indianapolis, Louisville, DC, or Nashville, you're in luck :)

These blogger blitz events aren't about my blogiversary--it's really about you! I want to share all the wonderful things blogging allowed me to discover over the past year :) I hope you'll join me if you're close to any of these five cities and learn more about the joys of blogging firsthand. And let's be honest...it's hard to meet new people outside of your circle, so a blogger meet-up is the perfect place to find some new pals!
