what to wear to a high school reunion (summer edition).

This past winter, I attended {cv}'s 10th high school reunion in Maine. In ten short days, I will be co-hosting my own 10th reunion in southern Indiana. Besides the craziness of planning, I am also frantically trying to choose my outfit for the festivities. If you know me, you know my first inclination was to check Rent The Runway. These 9 stunners are in tight contention for top pick. I'm hoping you can help me narrow it down!

 When trying to narrow down my choices, I knew one thing: I wanted color! I threw in a few dresses in my high school's signature purple, along with some other summer brights. My aim with these choices was to be comfortable, yet stylish--and still approachable.

Since I don't live near home, this will be the first time I've seen most of my classmates since the day
we graduated in 2003. Any input would certainly be appreciated! You ladies never let me down ;)

It's no secret that I'm a huge fan of Rent The Runway. When I caught wind of their Summer Style Pass,  I knew I had to share it with all of you. In the last three weeks, I've attended two weddings, two rehearsal dinners, a bachelorette party, and a bridal luncheon. Though we round out our wedding season in two weeks, I'm tempted to cash in on this deal for other fashionable fun throughout the summer. It's really too good to be true. A dress + an accessory for under $75 and free shipping + insurance? They might as well give these rentals away.

As a loyal Rent The Runway customer, I cannot speak more highly of their service. It makes flying to a wedding {or any other celebration} far from home infinitely less stressful. Why? spring looks for less.

Happy Tuesday! If you've been following my blog for a few months now, you know about my current spending freeze. With a few spring trips and weddings on the brain, I realize my best option may very well be Rent The Runway. I've rented more times than I can count, but with the spending freeze, I have barred myself from the site this winter--until this week, that is. Knowing that these dates are on the horizon, I thought it would be good to start plotting out and budgeting for my spring rentals--and to get your opinions on which ones I should pick once April rolls around!

Here's where I need your help: I'll be in Miami at the end of April for a work trip, so I don't want to be too scandalous. In mid-May, we head to the Dominican for a family wedding. Again, this constitutes another reason to keep the necklines up ;) Since the second rentals on the same order are available at a discount, I plan on bringing one or two dresses and one fabulous accessory. {I'm hoping the accessory can work for multiple outfits--even beyond those I'm renting.}

Rent the Runway is most certainly the answer to my lack of wardrobe refreshment this spring. For the money I'll be spending, I'll still look current without breaking the bank. I just need your help in figuring which dresses are the most fabulous :) Many thanks in advance for all your advice!
